What is ChatGPT Go?
ChatGPT Go is OpenAI's new subscription plan, which offers users advanced features like higher message limits, image generation, and file uploads. It launched in India in August 2024 to allow more people to take advantage of ChatGPT's high-end features at an affordable price. The number of paid ChatGPT subscribers in India doubled in the first month of launch.

AI use is rapidly increasing in India.
According to OpenAI, India is now the second-largest and fastest-growing market for ChatGPT. Millions of Indian users, including developers, students, and professionals, are using ChatGPT daily. OpenAI says this promotion is part of its India First commitment and will also strengthen the Indian government's India AI Mission initiative.

Who can take advantage of the offer?
Users who sign up for ChatGPT Go during the promotional period, starting November 4th, will receive one year of free access. Interestingly, users who are already ChatGPT Go subscribers will also be able to take advantage of this 12-month free plan.
