PM Modi on Sunday flagged off three new Vande Bharat Express trains, expanding the semi-high-speed network across multiple regions of the country. The launch took place at KSR Railway Station in Bengaluru, where the PM inaugurated the Bengaluru–Belagavi service.
Alongside the Karnataka route, two other trains were introduced — Amritsar to Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, and Nagpur (Ajni) to Pune in Maharashtra.
After the flag-off ceremony, the prime minister interacted with children at the station, taking a few moments to greet them and pose for photographs.
