TV may not have the glitz of Bollywood, but for actors who play their cards right, it can be a financial goldmine. One such actress is Sakshi Tanwar, a Lady Shriram College, Delhi University graduate, who, according to Ram Kapoor, has made enough money for “6 generations”.
Actor Ram Kapoor, known for hit shows like Kasamh Se and starring opposite Sakshi in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, recently opened up on Humans of Bombay about the staggering earning potential of television—and how a few smart choices can secure wealth for generations.
Speaking about his long-time co-star Sakshi Tanwar, Kapoor shared that her financial prudence has helped her save enough “for six generations.” While she avoids splurging on luxuries like fancy cars, her investments have been solid. “She spends very wisely,” Ram said, admiring her down-to-earth lifestyle despite her massive success.
Ram also pointed out that while TV actors don’t earn like film stars, long-running shows offer consistent, high-paying work. He added that smart financial habits are what separate enduring stars from those who fade away after one hit.
