Mumbai: As the political storm around the alleged honey trap case intensifies, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has directly challenged the opposition to stop making mere allegations and instead reveal the contents of the pen drive they claim to possess. This comes after the opposition alleged that as many as 72 people, including some ministers and government officials, are involved in the scandal.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had earlier denied the existence of any such honey trap case during the ongoing assembly session, trying to bring the issue to a close. However, with growing pressure from opposition parties, Ajit Pawar has now broken his silence and confronted the issue head-on.
“Stop giving threats. Just bring everything out at once. If you have a pen drive, if you have videos, then release them in front of the people,” Ajit Pawar said, challenging the opposition to make all the evidence public instead of making repeated claims.
