Varanasi: A woman passenger, Khushboo, gave birth to a healthy baby aboard the Sadbhavana Express (Train No. 14016) on Monday. Traveling from Anand Vihar Terminal to Chakia, she experienced labor pains near Shivpur station, giving birth just before the train reached Varanasi.
On-duty TTEs Mohd. Parvez Ansari and Jamil Alam quickly managed the situation and contacted senior officials. Kuldeep Tiwari, Senior DCM of Northern Railway's Lucknow Division, confirmed that medical assistance was arranged at Varanasi station even before the train's arrival.
Railway commercial staff, onboard housekeeping, and fellow passengers all played crucial roles in assisting with the delivery.

Upon arrival at Varanasi, both the mother and newborn were promptly taken to a hospital via ambulance, where doctors confirmed they were in good health.
