Coronation Street's 'unmissable' week ahead sees danger, turmoil and big twists

Fans of Coronation Street should prepare for big scenes next week on the ITV soap, as they tackle anLSD storyline.

The repercussions could be massive as multiple characters are caught up in the drama. There's serious danger for some, trouble and angst for others, while a mystery set of scenes spark a storyline for two of the characters involved.

There's potentially devastating scenes ahead as disaster hits the street after a house party. Aadi Alahan decides to throw a gathering, only for troublemaker Brody Michaelis to bring a bottle of LSD.

Aadi spots the drugs and kicks Brody out of the party, leading to chaos as he refuses to go before finally fleeing. But Aadi makes a decision he could live to regret when he, Nina and Summer decide to drink the LSD.

Aadi leaves his unattended only for someone else to accidentally drink it. What follows is a dramatic turn of events with Nina and Summer high only to be left terrified when they hear sirens, with it hinted something bad has happened.

As the week goes on, Nina and Summer retrace their steps looking for answers. As for another resident, the person who took the third cup of LSD is left in a bad way and their condition deteriorates.

While the full scenes and what happens in the fallout are being kept under wraps, what we can say is it's a huge storyline for all those involved and the wider community. After the big party, the police come knocking to ask Aadi about reports of drugs at the party, but will he reveal all? At the end of the week Nina is left making a confession to Roy, who urges her to speak to the police.

But what has happened and will she face trouble? Summer and Nina are shown looking scared and emotional in spoiler images, while full details are yet to be announced.

Our insider shared: "We find one character could be in peril as events at the party take a worrying turn. We can't give anything away, but the repercussions of the drugs at the party impact multiple people, and the consequences could be huge."

Spoilers teased the night would be "unforgettable" for those involved, with a "dramatic sequence of events" set to occur. It's also claimed Lauren Bolton, who attends the party, will be left "unwell" and facing "a nightmare situation".

But what does she need to "escape" from? What has been revealed is that "disturbing" events take place with secrets covered up, and a huge aftermath for residents to deal with.
