It's a rare occasion when you receive something free, but that's precisely what Virgin Media is currently offering. The telecoms behemoth has been gifting a free 4K TV over the past week to customers who opt for certain bundles.

A 50-inch Hisense television is up for grabs, but Virgin has now confirmed this eye-catching giveaway will end tonight (July 9) at 11:59pm - so make sure shoppers act fast to claim the deal.

If a free 4K TV tickles your fancy, it's straightforward to secure one. Virgin has confirmed that the television will be dispatched once you subscribe to plans such as the Bigger Combo bundle + Movies, Biggest Combo bundle, and Mega Volt bundle.

Upon confirmation of the 24-month contract, the 50-inch TV - valued at over £240 - will be delivered right to your door. If a new telly isn't on the wishlist, shoppers can choose to have a £200 bill credit applied to their account instead.

Here is a rundown of all the deals and what they include:

  • Sky Cinema HD and Sky channels

Like all providers, Virgin Media will hike prices during the contract term and at its conclusion, so it's wise to negotiate a better deal with them or be prepared to switch to a new offer. It's also crucial to verify that Virgin Media's cables are accessible in your area, as not every household can connect to this Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Alternatively, while Sky doesn't have any free offers ongoing, it does have some cheaper alternatives. Sky's £35.99 Essential TV and Full Fibre 150 bundle is a great cheaper alternative.

EE is also a good provider to consider for those who want just internet. The brand has some of the fastest speeds from £29.99if TV is something that's not needed.
