Kate Cassidy's life was turned upside down 11 months ago when boyfriendLiam Payne plunged to his death. The former One Direction star died aged 31 after the fall in a hotel in Argentina, just days after Kate had left him to return to the United States.
She continues to share her grief and heartache openly on social media and the 26-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to make a plea to her followers almost a year on from losing her soulmate. Taking to her Stories, she shared her sweet memory box.
In it were letters from Liam, polaroids of the pair and little knitted teddies as well as a number of drawings. The video sees Kate putting her memories from their time together in a floral print box, with a quote reading: "She probably just threw it away."

She captioned the upload: "Don’t forget to write your loved ones a letter today, tomorrow is not gaurenteed.[sic]". He followers were quick to share their appreciation on her post, with one user saying: "This made me cry. He was so special. Liam’s love will always surround you in so many beautiful ways. He is always with you, Kate."
It followed an earlier post in which she shared a number of happier memories from recent times. Clips saw her visit Disney, go swimming in the ocean and have a picnic on the beach.
She captioned the footage: "11 months ago couldn’t even tell you what my morning to night looked like. I was in such a dark place.
"I now choose to see the light in life and realize how fragile and precious life is, and therefore I will live everyday to my fullest, for us both."

Again, her followers and fans of Liam were on hand to offer messages of support. One user in the comments section wrote: "The sun will always come out. He would want you to live your life to the fullest- happy to see your light slowly come back."
In an update last month, Kate candidly confessed she still wear's Liam's clothes to bed. She shared an Instagram upload in a bid to help others deal with grief and revealed she is often asked on the social media platform about Liam's death. Fans also regularly ask her how she copes with his loss.
In response, she took to the platform to try to answer the frequent questions. She said grief feels like "a world that you wake up in and it doesn't make any sense anymore, especially when you lose somebody so suddenly and unexpectedly you almost have such a hard time forgiving the world for ripping that person away from you."
And she said she sometimes feels "numb," following Liam's death, while at other times she can feel emotional.Kate also admitted she feels as though her personal grief will last a "lifetime". "Grief does not come with an expiration date," she added. "It's not something you learn to get over, it's something you learn to carry with".
