Cheteshwar Pujara broke the hearts of fans by retiring from all formats of cricket on Sunday. He represented India in 103 Tests and 5 ODIs in his career. In the IPL, he played a total of 30 matches for KKR, RCB and Punjab Kings. Pujara made his mark in Test cricket, he was called the wall because like Dravid, even the best bowlers were not able to get him out quickly. Pujara is the 18th cricketer to announce his retirement in 2025. Earlier, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli said goodbye to Test cricket and many cricketers retired from all three formats.
The names of Nicholas Pooran and Heinrich Klaasen are also included among the cricketers who will retire in 2025. These names are surprising because their age is still very young. West Indies' dashing batsman Pooran is just 29 years old, while South Africa's wicketkeeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen said goodbye to international cricket at the age of 33.
