Anupamaa: Fans Angry Over New Episode, Call Story Repetitive

Rupali Ganguly’s popular show Anupamaa continues to enjoy high TRP ratings and a loyal fan base. However, the latest promo of the show has sparked displeasure among viewers who feel the story is becoming repetitive.

The promo hints at a major twist involving Aryan and Mahi’s marriage, showing Aryan taking drugs and later dying due to an overdose, with Anupamaa being blamed for his death. This storyline has drawn criticism, as many fans have pointed out its similarity to a plot in another popular show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where a character named Shubham died of drug overdose and Naira was blamed.

In Anupamaa, Aryan’s addiction was known only to Anupamaa, and he had promised to reveal it to the family after their wedding reception. Unfortunately, he dies before that, leading to Anupamaa being held responsible. This twist, perceived as a copy of an earlier storyline, has left fans unhappy and questioning the show’s creativity.
