The romantic drama Saiyaara has proved that love stories still have a strong place in Indian cinema. In an era dominated by action-packed blockbusters, horror comedies, and biopics, the film’s extraordinary box office performance is a reminder of Bollywood’s golden era of romance once ruled by icons like Rajesh Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, and Shah Rukh Khan.

Despite the decline in large-scale romantic films, 2025 has witnessed a revival with Saiyaara’s unstoppable run. The film’s collections show no signs of slowing down. Here’s a look at its 26-day domestic earnings and 25-day worldwide performance.

India Box Office Collection

According to Saccanilk reports, Saiyaara saw a jump in earnings on its 26th day.

  • Day 25 (Monday): ₹1.35 crore

  • Day 26 (Tuesday): ₹1.50 crore

With this, the film’s total India collection stands at ₹321.35 crore in 26 days.

Worldwide Box Office Collection

As per the same source, Saiyaara has earned ₹538.25 crore worldwide in 25 days, making it one of the highest-grossing films of the year so far.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Record Under Threat

Ranbir Kapoor’s career has seen several big box office hits, including Animal, Brahmastra, and Sanju. Among them, Sanju remains a standout, earning ₹342.3 crore in India and around ₹150 crore overseas, bringing its worldwide total to ₹587.30 crore.

Currently, Saiyaara is just ₹50 crore short of Sanju’s global record. If the film maintains its momentum for another 1–2 weeks, it could surpass Ranbir Kapoor’s second-biggest hit.

Upcoming Challenges at the Box Office

However, the road ahead isn’t without competition. Two major releases are set to hit theatres soon, which could affect Saiyaara’s earnings. Whether it manages to break Sanju’s record will depend on how it holds up against these new contenders.

For now, Saiyaara stands as a powerful reminder that romance on the big screen can still capture the audience’s heart — and their ticket money.
