Former cricketer Virender Sehwag shared a Diwali family photo that quickly caught attention online — not for who was in it, but for who wasn’t. The picture featured Sehwag with his two sons, Aryavir and Vedant, along with his mother. While the family looked cheerful as they extended Diwali wishes, Sehwag’s wife, Aarti, was notably missing from the frame.
Her absence from such a special family occasion has reignited rumours of a possible rift between the couple. Reports of tension in their relationship have surfaced occasionally, and this recent photo has once again fuelled the gossip.
Adding to the chatter, speculation has also linked Aarti’s absence to the newly appointed BCCI President, Mithun Manhas. Sehwag and Manhas, both former Delhi cricketers and close friends, have been mentioned in unverified rumours suggesting Aarti’s closeness with Manhas. However, there is no confirmation or credible evidence to support these claims.
Interestingly, while Aarti did not appear in Sehwag’s family photo, she shared a separate picture with her two sons on her Instagram story during Diwali celebrations.
