Eamonn Holmes has been flooded with support as he made a career announcement on Friday (July 11).
Eamonn usually presents GB News' morning programme from 6am, which underwent a shake-up recently as his co-host Isabel Webster was replaced by Ellie Costello.
Ellie and Eamonn present the show from Monday to Wednesday, before Anne Diamond and Stephen Dixon take over on Thursday and Friday.
Now, it seems the duos will be merging, as Eamonn took to Instagram this afternoon to reveal that he'd be hosting this weekend's breakfast shows with Anne.
Alongside a smiling image of the pair, the caption read: "We never worked together on Breakfast Television... but we do now."
It continued: "Eamonn & Anne starting the day on @gbnews tomorrow and Sunday 6 - 9.30 am. Hope u can join us on Telly or Radio."
Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their excitement, with one person writing: "This will be good. My favourite duo!"
Another added: "Looking forward to seeing you both," while a third said: "Two of the best morning folks we could want to start our day with."
A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: "Love u pair, you will be great together," with another similarly sharing: "We are being spoilt Eamonn."
It's not the first time Eamonn and Anne have teamed up together, as Anne notably replaced Ellie for one midweek show last month.
Both Anne and Eamonn were visibly upbeat throughout the show as they tackled topics like the controversial clash between US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the D-Day remembrance events, and Labour's unexpected victory in Scotland.
Viewers were particularly thrilled to see Eamonn looking well after his recent ill health.
The 65-year-old has struggled with mobility issues in recent years, initially prompted by a 2021 health scare that necessitated the use of a walking stick.
He has since shared a worrying health update, following a trip to hospital after he suffered a fall at home in May, which left him fearing he was "dead".
Eamonn shared that he had suffered the "sorest and most powerful" knock to his head, adding: "I was very worried about me. [I] fell on the bathroom floor and once I was down, I couldn't get up."
