NEW DELHI: After consulting with the government, security agencies, and all relevant stakeholders, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to resume the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 from May 17, with all matches to be held across six venues.
The IPL 2025 will restart at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 17, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing Kolkata Knight Riders. The tournament had been suspended for a week following intense cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, during which Pakistan launched missile and drone attacks that were successfully intercepted by Indian forces.
