A mild earthquake hit parts of Pakistan just after midnight on Sunday. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said the quake measured 4.8 on the richter scale and struck at 12:40 am IST. It occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
This came hours after a stronger earthquake shook parts of Pakistan on Saturday. That tremor, measuring 5.4, affected regions including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Islamabad.
